ADDITIONAL TOOLS, ACCESSORIES, AND HOSE OPTIONS are available for all models. All models incorporate a standard internal filter for dust control and an exhaust silencer for quiet operation. Additional filters(including HEPA filters) and extra silent exhaust silencers are available.

All models produce maximum performance at 100 PSI compressed air, at the rated volume for each model. Vacuum performance will be reduced at reduced compresses air pressure and volume. Adequate compressed air supply is vital for full performance; if unsure of your compressed air system's delivery, call NORTECH for evaluation tips.

All models share the same basic design, with no moving parts. The size of orifices in the air jet and venturi determine each model's performance and compressed air requirements. The "B" models incorporate the largest orifices and offer the greatest performance. The "D" models incorporate smaller orifices for lower consumption of compressed air; the vacuum created by the "D" models is the same as that of the "B" models, but the amount of material moved in a given time is less. The "S" model incorporates a special air jet for use with as little as 20 CFM compressed air, yet still offers more than twice the vacuum of comparable electric units. The "COMPVAC" incorporates a special venturi for use with compressed air supply hose as small as 3/8" I.D., yet still offer vacuum power superior to electrically -powered portables.

NORTECH vacuums are inherently explosive-resistant, in that they have no moving parts and and use no electricity, The potential for static electrical discharge is present in some vacuuming applications. and static grounding is recommended to minimize this potential. Ground straps and static conductive vacuum hose are available from NORTECH for these applications.
